After the many years that have come to pass since this image was photographed, the family of John and Charlotte have decided to share the actual story of this truly unusal picture.

Many people have come in contact with this photo over the past 80 years but have been unfortunate to have learned its true origin. Some have been told storeis of how this image was taken of formations within snow while other believe that this was dreamt of by an individual having a religious experience. But due to the character of John and Charlotte, they never wished to take credit for what was found within Mother Nature's own doing. Time and again he always mentioned that "He knew who took the photo and that is all that matters."

We wanted to share this story to shed light onto a subject that is remarkable and give credit to the man that brought this image to the world.
