How to spot differences from the original image
After many years of being reproduced, noticeable differences can be seen from the original photo. Below are a few of these variations.
Within the lower right portion of the beard, distinct white space is recongnizable on the original
This picture taken from an old newspaper article shows a significant difference in the amount of white space available.
Near the left side of the beard, another patch of white can be seen on the original copy
In this variation taken from a brochure distributed in a church located in the state of Hawaii, you can see this spot is missing entirely.
From the negative. you can see both white space areas should be present.
